Couple's getaway with some quirks
The breakfast was pretty good, and the staff, especially Ruben at the front desk, were genuinely helpful. We also enjoyed the locals in nearby cafes. they had good food and a nice vibe, made our stay feel more like a vacation.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still decent enough for the experience we had.

Had a good time overall, but $200 deposit for the dog was a real bummer, especially with mixed communication during checkout. Super friendly staff though, they made it better!

Clean room with solid breakfast
Had a comfortable stay in a single room for 2 nights. The staff were super friendly and helped me out when I got lost! , which was nice. The breakfast spread was awesome with lots of options to choose from! The only thing? I could hear some noise from the hallway occasionally.

i stayed for 7 nights with my group and had a fantastic time at catalonia. the hotel was immaculate, and the staff, especially ruben, were super friendly and helpful with local tips. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the station, making it easy to explore barcelona.
internet connection was poor in my room.

The hotel has a great breakfast spread with plenty of choices, which made for a solid start to the day. The cleanliness of the hotel, including the rooms, stood out—everything was kept immaculate throughout my stay.
There were a few hiccups. The pool area was closed despite sunny weather, and I was looking forward to lounging there. On top of that, late-night arrivals with luggage could be noisy on the hard-surfaced corridors since there’s no carpet. the shower and bathroom facilities did feel a bit dated, so that could use some attention. And while the local area has its share of shops and dining, getting into the heart of Barcelona takes a taxi ride of around 40-50 euros, which can add up quickly.

The room was clean and well-maintained, making relaxation easy after a day out. I appreciated the friendly reception staff. they provided helpful local tips, enhancing my experience. The hotel offers great amenities, including a refreshing pool and a gym, which added value to my stay. the lack of a carpet in the corridor was a bit bothersome, as late-night arrivals with luggage could disturb others. while breakfast had plenty of options, it lacked variety in terms of hot dishes. Finally, the hotel's distance from main attractions meant spending about $40-$50 on taxi rides to Barcelona, which can add up quickly.
